The possibilities for using XStar motion technology are extremely diverse and broad, finding applications in both the robotics and automation sectors. These applications can include, for example, the management of robotic Pick&Place operations, as well as the use of the most varied cutting technologies, such as laser cutting, plasma or blade cutting. The fields of application are also wide and can range from textile and leather processing to wood and metalworking or any other material. This technology can manage paths of arbitrary length, which makes it particularly suitable for very long work-cycles. Furthermore it can be used both in online and offline modes, providing optimised references to the controller frequency. Also the versatility of XStar technology proves to be one of its main strengths, as it can be integrated into customised applications to perform specific machining operations, even on machines characterised by complex and unconventional kinematics.
